Fire Rock Pale Ale from Kona Brewing Co. in Hawaii, was first released on Feb 14th 1995 apparently, not sure if the fact that is Valentines Day has any relevance though.Location : Hawaii > Kona

I had this at a little festival in my city, it was being sold at a big burger food stall where I was getting my lunch, so having not seen this beer before I had to try it.
Glad I did too.
It's a dry, flavourful, slightly bitter pale ale with a long, dry and bitter aftertaste.
All round a pretty nice ale with a roasted malt taste.
Will definitely try this one again, and look out for other beers from the Kona brewery (Big Wave Golden Ale, Longobard Island Lager and about 10 or so others according to their website).
