Fuji Trading Co have a great webpage devoted to explaining this Belgium Euro Hop "alcoholic beverage" (click here for page) with great quotes like:
"Belgium is the best place for producing Beer."
"“EUROHOP” is brewed in the Brewery that was established 250 years ago."
"This Brewery has a plenty of experience in the Beer Brewing"
But they won't tell us the name of the brewery though!
Did find out that the ingredients are: Happoshu (Malt, barley, corn starch and hops), and Spirits (Barley and Rice). Although I'm pretty sure that "Spirits" means something else in Japanese, or is translated badly. "Spirits" in English usually means, alcohol like vodka, gin, etc. (liquor).
Anyway, is it any good?
Yes (unsurprisingly perhaps as it's from Belgium, the best place for producing beer)!
It's a pale golden colour in the glass with a small, fizzy white head.
It has a light nose, nothing much to speak of.
It's a light, fresh tasting, "lager", or "alcoholic beverage" and overall not bad.
A light lager, and pretty cheap too.
Seeing as it's a daisan I'll give it a score of 90 as it's probably the best one I've tasted!
Would love to know the Belgium brewery though.

| http://www.fujitrading.co.jp/ihq/e/eurohops/profile.html Actually one of my favorite beers I've had in Japan. It's pretty decent, and at around 75yen a can or 450yen for a six pack it's cheap too. Tasted like a beer to me, though it has the usual "daisan funk" aftertaste. |
