I bought this on a recent trip to Awajishima (Awaji Island) which is just off the coast of Kobe. It's a small island inbetween the mainland and Shikoku.Location : Japan > Hyogo

This is an altbier style beer and on the pour it's a reddy brown clear toffee colour with an off-white, slightly yellow head.
There are buttery notes on the nose.
On the palate, it's malty and bitter with a light to medium mouth feel, not creamy.
It has quite a long bitter aftertaste and it's a fairly dry beer.
Overal this is a pretty nice, tasty craft beer (Jibiru as they say in Japanese 地ビール).
