( http://www.anchorbrewing.com/ ), Anchor Brewing Company have been making beers in San Francisco since 1896, and this particular "wheat beer" was first brewed there in 1984, "The first American wheat beer in modern times", apparently.
It has a light wheaty smell and has a very wheaty and cerealy taste on the palate.
The beer has a light feel to it despite a weighty, spongey feel in the mouth. The aftertaste is quite light and crisp too.
It's a "Summer Beer" and does have quite a light, fresh summery feel to it.
I like this one, and will definitely look out for more Anchor beers.
