Warsteiner Premium Verum

Warsteiner Premium Verum

Brewery : Warsteiner Brewery
Location : Germany > Warstein
Beer Type : Lager
Alcohol : 5% Abv
Score: 88 by MoIppai (30/06/2010)

This Pilsner from Warsteiner Brewery in north-western Germany is made from hops, barley and extra-soft water from the Kaiserquelle (Kaiser's Spring) on the edge of Arnsberg Forest near the brewery.

It's a light golden pilsner with a light, fruity hoppy smell.

Quite smooth on the palate with light, aromatic hops and fairly thick in the mouth surprisingly. Slightly weighty and thick, a very full, syrupy feel in the mouth.

Overall a very good German beer. Not one for a beer session as it's quite heavy (the syrupy feel) but a very good, drinkable beer.
