Suntory Kinmugi 金麦 Rich Malt

Suntory Kinmugi 金麦 Rich Malt

Brewery : Suntory
Location : Japan > Osaka
Beer Type : Daisan (Happosei,Third Category)
Alcohol : 5% Abv
Calories : 42KCal/100ml
Score: 85 by MoIppai (12/04/2010)

"Enjoy Rich Taste in Relaxing Time" as it says on the can.

This is another new Daisan "beer" from one of the main Japanese breweries (they seem to be bringing one or two out a month at the moment), but this is definitely a good addition to the range.

Kinmugi (金麦) means "Gold Malt", but they've called it Rich Malt in English. It has a golden colour and is very fizzy with a big, frothy head.

It's quite light and fairly malty (Rich malty perhaps).

For a Third-Category beer this is actually pretty good, so I've given it a high score (but bear in mind it's a high score for a daisan, it really doesn't compare with a real beer).
