All three of the big beer companies in Japan have recently launched these kinds of drinks and this is the first one I've tried.
Taste wise it's pretty bad. Very cardboardy like the Asahi Point Zero (which is 0% alcohol but not calorie free), but luckily the cardboardy aftertaste only sticks around for about a minute.
Obviously this is for people who can't drink alcohol (drivers, etc) and people on a diet, but to be honest I think they'd be better off with some kind of juice or something as this doesn't resemble beer at all, so is kind of pointless.
That's just my opinion of course. Apparently these drinks have become increasingly popular in Japan recently so there's obviously a market for them.
