This is a new Third-Category beer from Sapporo (the third-category beers uses very little malt to reduce tax and thus price).
It's a light golden colour and very fizzy with a white bubbly head like lemonade.
It has the usual slightly "off-beer" daisan (third-category) smell, but not as strong as some others.
Sapporo Creamy White does actually have a creamy texture, which I was surprised at, as these names are usually just hyperbole.
It also has a fizzy, but creamy texture.
Not bad for a daisan, in fact apart from Asahi's the third-category beers seem to have been improving in taste recently, more so than the happoshus.
This one is sharp, fizzy and very carbonated.
Not bad.

| Love this one too. Now I can save the Hoegaarden for the REALLY special occasions. This will do for most uses. Though I can't seem to find it on the shelves anymore here in Toyonaka (Osaka). Are they still making it? |

| Good point. After you said that I've been checking the conbini's and can't find it anywhere. Shame if it was only a limited run. |

| Nice beer. In fact, I`m having a few now. Very pleasant, slightly creamy taste as the name would suggest. They were giving away a can for free as a sample two weeks ago at my local Yamaya (like Liquor Mountain). They ran out of them at my local grocery store, but recently got another shipment. I`ve only seen them in those two places, though here in Koriyama it isn`t quite so metropolitan. Nothing mind blowing, but very solid and a bit better than average, I`d say. |
