Osaka Beer

Osaka Beer

Brewery : Minoh Brewery
Location : Japan > Minoh
Beer Type : Beer
Alcohol : 5% Abv
Score: 50 by MoIppai (23/01/2010)

This beer from the Mino (or Minoh) Brewery in Japan is a Bayern style beer apparently, and made from barley and hops.

This brewery also make the Biliken Beer which I much prefer.

This is a cloudy, pale yellow fizzy beer with a fruity, hoppy nose.

In the mouth it's syrupy and cloying. It has an unusual full, thick mouth feel.

To be honest it feels unbalanced to me, there's something wrong with it.
It has a soury, bitter aftertaste with a strong hoppy flavour but also leaves you with an empty, dry feeling in the mouth.

There's a lot fo sediment in the bottle too, so must be unfiltered.

I really didn't like this one I'm afraid and even ended up throwing the rest of the bottle away.

Not good.
