This offering is from Orion Breweries in Okinawa (imported to the main Japanese islands by Asahi), and is called Ichiban Sakura (Number One Cherry Blossom).
It's made with "All Malt & Aroma Hop" according to the can and it is fairly malty with some nice hops in there.
A clear, golden fizzy lager on the pour with a smallish, soft white head.
On the nose it has malty, breakfast cerealy, wheaty notes and the palate is quite bold and full flavoured with a fresh and light aromatic, slightly floral hoppy taste to it.
It's a dry lager with a fairly long aftertaste.
This is another good one from Orion, worth checking out while sitting underneath the cherry blossoms this year.
