Surprisingly, for a strong lager like this, quite smooth.
I remember drinking Helden Brau Super (9%) in my university days which tasted like treacle and gave blinding hangovers.
This, admittedly at 2% less alcohol, is quite nice, with the alcohol not too overpowering.
It's a little bitter, but not that malty. Not bad.
