The Japanese love their seasons, it's a time for new seasonal foods, changes in weather, changes in scenery and above all, changes in beer.
In fact new beers, or variations on old beers seem to come out every month, and this one is the Autumn version from Kirin.
"Aki Aji" means the taste of Autumn in Japanese.
This lager has a deep golden colour and has a full bodied, hoppy, fruity flavour.
It's not bitter and actually had a slightly nutty flavour too.
Overall quite refreshing.
