Einbecker Mai Ur Bock

Einbecker Mai Ur Bock

Brewery : Einbecker Brauhaus AG
Location : Germany > Einbeck
Beer Type : Lager
Alcohol : 6.5% Abv
Score: 88 by MoIppai (05/07/2010)

A "bock" is a German style of strong lager first brewed in the 14th century in the town of Einbeck (or Einbock) - where this brewery is from, and derives it's name from the town.

This Einbecker Mai Ur Bock has a darkish golden colour with a slightly off-white head.

There's not much of a hoppy smell to it, smells just like a lager really.

It has kind of a dark taste, not quite roasted malt but on the way there.

A full flavorful taste that fills the mouth.

Overall, pretty nice.
