This was bitter and a little fruity. Way too bitter for me though. Didn't like this one much.

Wow, I was a bit harsh in that review 2 years ago. Thought I should give it another go so bought another bottle a couple of days ago.

It's a light golden colour on the pour with a big white frothy head. On the nose, there's spices, some cloves and some hops.

On the palate, it's has a fruity, spicy taste to it, it's an ale, but very much like a white beer.
There's some oranges in there, and some yeastiness, as well as a fair bit of bitterness.

To be honest though, I don't get it. Everyone seems to rave about this beer, as if it's the best ever, but to me, it's ok, but not amazing. (Although not as bad as my initial review).

"Duvel" is Flemish for "Devil" by the way.
